Moms Need to Be Great Actresses
Raphael broke one of Michael's toys, and when I asked him what he would do about it, he said, "I'll pay him for a new one." I asked, "How are you going to pay him for a new one? Do you have any money?" He answered, "Yes, I have money. I have a credit card and three pennies." I went from mad to giggles, but had to pretend I was still mad. :-)

Jack's Birth
Jack's birth was nothing really exciting. I was induced because my last labor was only one hour and I could not have an epidural. My Doctor and I thought this way would be a better guarantee that I would deliver in the hospital. It was also nice to have my hair washed, pedicure done, kids in school, etc.
I took Pitocin at 12pm and Jack was born at 4:06pm. I had an epidural before I felt any major pain (yay!). I was lucky to have a nurse that actually listened to me (thanks Cristina) and a great Doctor that not only gave me great prenatal care, but also was there when I needed him and made me as comfortable as I could get. I am proud to say that the biggest pain I felt was from the ant bites I got from stepping in an ant pile by my garage door when I was leaving to go to the hospital (my dad got it all on video... AFV one day?)
Jack was 7lbs 11 oz, 20 1/2 inches long, head full of dark hair, dark eyes, face just like Michael. He is a joy!

Blog Changes
It's been six months I don't write in this blog. The truth is that I don't really feel comfortable writing about my family when I don't know who is reading it. Six months ago a garden store posted a link to my page in their website (go figure) and although I really don't mind links to my page (I love when friends do it actually), it was a wake up call. So the time has come for a password! In a few days if you'd like to access my page, please contact me and if I know you, I'll give it to you. I have a new blog called "Little Princess Dress Up" that will be up in a few days. That one will be public, and a lot of fun! Please check it out!
